Message: We are a member of ACTA since last year up to present because we agree and believe with its missions. And we greatly believe that we can depend on the association. But another ACTA member, Mr. Peter Harrison could have been misjudging Hotel Hana. There was an incident which happened 2 weeks ago...Sgt. Elizarde Bautista is well aware of this. And he said he's on our side because we are on the right side...but it seems Mr. Harrison, won't stop and obviosly he's maliciously threatening the hotel. He has no right to destroy the hotel's reputation because the employee who was really involved with the incident/accident is an employee of another company (sister company of Hotel Hana)...though using the FB Van which is partly owned by the hotel...FB Van was well-parked in front of Tourist Center, an accident happened...the details can be explained by Sgt. Bautista...and in his presence, there was an amicable settlement. Mr. Harrison received Php1, 500.00 for the repair of his scooter...But day after,he came at the hotel...demands us to pay Php2,500.00 for his medical expenses...we were reluctant to pay such amount because we have informed Sgt. Bautista about it...and he said that we don't have any obligation on his medical expenses...but friends of Mr. Harrison came in at the hotel, then we have found out that it was not really Mr. Harrison's money that was used for his medical expenses but that of Mr. Neil Micko. For humanitarian reasons and just to settle it...we have given a money for the second time. The Php2,500.00 was received by his friend named Mr. Primo Delim...and they received/signed a paper...where it was noted that after receiving the said amount...it will be finished there...and it means he must stop all these. The hotel is not directly involved, yet we have accommodated them fair enough...But Mr. Harrison left the hotel...leaving his friend who paid for his medical expenses to talk with us alone... Mr. Harrison wanted this matter to be brought up to the legal court...the hotel definitely wanted it so. A thousand peso is nothing at all but we do also have a point to prove...we had our share...more than enough...what else does he want? Sgt. Bautista have mentioned that Mr. Harrison has no license at that time, instead he showed a ticket that was issued to him by the LTO...So, what does it imply? He's a lawbreaker himself? Mr. Harrison have created a damage on our hotel's reputation...regular guests have been sending us e-mail regarding the messages that he posted on our guestbook and online-forum...they are concerned of what's going on with the hotel that we don't want them to be bothered about it. He might have "lost his mind" (since he's the owner of "lost in asia") During our talk with Mr. Harrison's friend who is Mr. Neil, we have quoted him saying that after the medical expenses has been settled...he assured us that it's all finished...99% all finished...we relied on his words beacause he's a friend of Mr. Harrison...and 1% it will not be finished if Mr. Harrisson will get crazy...(that statement was from Mr. Harrison's friend) We guess this is the 1% of Mr. Harrison...yet he's over-doing things...and we can no longer just shrug our shoulders off...a legal action must be taken against his acts. Mr. Harrison, kept on saying he'll have his attorney...we are doing the same thing...we have already informed our company attorney to deal with his malicious threats...even sending messages to our guests which is really inappropriate. Hotel Hana and the workers should not be dragged into this matter because we are not the one that is directly involved. Our message to Mr. Harrison...the solution to this upheaval...let's just bring this up to the proper medium. Too much has been said and the damage has been done.
